Hey Friends July 27-Aug 2

Well, I didn't like the skinny format I had, so this is the current look for our Biggest Loser blog. Also, instead of having daily postings, I'm going to have one post for the week. (I couldn't keep up with the dailies!) We can post workouts, goals, etc. and be able to look at a whole week's worth of postings at once!

Wkout- 4 miles in 72 minutes. I couldn't run AT ALL! I've had a sore knee for several days and I also just didn't have the energy to run today.

Dory said she is really struggling with the water. My biggest challenge is the fruits and vegetables! I'm always in a hurry and can't seem to get those in. But, I bought a big bag of apples and carrots, so I have a better shot at it this week.

July 30th-Wkout-3.25 miles in 52 minutes. I still couldn't run. My knee is wonky! Oh well. I'm happy with my 2 cardio points for the day. I already had a diet dr. pepper, but I'm doing a no sugar day! good luck!

What has helped me with the vegetables, is soup, I made a huge thing of veggie soup and it is a whole lot easier for me to get my point now. Before I was just scarfing down carrots and apples at the end of the day to get my points.

Cassie! Soup is a great idea! Today, I stopped at McDonald's and picked up two side salads. One for today and one for tomorrow. I brought them home and ate one salad with an added a slice of cheese and two slices of turkey to make it a little more of a meal. I ate it with their light Italian dressing. It was really good and filling.
July 31st-Wkout- 3.3 miles in 50:15 minutes. I was able to run a bit today. Still not as much as I would like, but better.

5 miles in 73 minutes. I walked most of it, but ran during commercials. All in all a good workout. I'm down a pound today. I hope is stays there for my official weigh-in tomorrow morning.
