Sept 7th-13th

And you think you are tired.....Did you fall asleep face down on YOUR chair???

Wow! What a challenging week it was! This is the first moment I've had to get on the computer all week! It is always an adjustment during the first week of school, but this seemed more tricky than usual! So, you ask, how did I handle the stress??????

CHOCOLATE!!! Yes, I applied it often and generously. I walked my 4 miles on Thursday, with a hunk of chocolate in my hand!! But, at least I did the four miles.....right??? :)

I didn't eat great. I couldn't stay away from the chips or the chocolate. I was a bit discouraged. But now I think....SO WHAT!!!!!????!!! it's okay! I had a bad week...They happen... Tomorrow is another day!!!

SUCCESS IS GETTING UP MORE OFTEN THAN YOU FALL DOWN!

So, no worries. My weight actually stayed about the same and I feel renewed and ready to go again. So little of any of the good stuff in this life comes for free. I'm really trying to change my life for good and so if I had a bad week, next week will be better. The goal is to create a pattern for success over weeks and years.

I'm sorry I didn't post anything for last week. (especially to you Eric, I know you were looking for it.) I wish you all a successful week!!!!

Hugs!

Monday-I got on the treadmill and ran/walked 5.4 miles in 70:02 minutes. It was really hard, but I was able to run at 6 mph for quite a bit, AND I cranked up the treadmill to 7 mph and I was able to keep up! I was so excited to realize I could actually run that fast.I'll problably have to take it a little easy on Tuesday. On Monday night I ended up with really sore knees. I took some Advil and iced my knees.

Everynight before I go to sleep, I lay there with my eyes closed and visualize myself at my next weight goal, running the Thanksgiving Day 10K and then wearing my skinny (well, skinnier) jeans to Thanksgiving dinner. I can't wait to reach that goal!!!!
